Don't Drink and Drive in Mexico

If it is determined that the consumption of drugs or alcohol contributed to a traffic crash in Mexico your Mexican insurance becomes null and void. You will be put in jail until you come up with the money to pay for everything. This was from an article in Friction Zone about riding in Mexico. Mexico does have a helmet law.

It's also pretty dangerous to drive after dark in Mexico. There tends to be all sorts of hazards in the road, from semi's going way too fast to donkeys going way too slow.

So, this just might be me, but i think it's safe to say you shouldn't drink and drive in any country. AMIRITE?
