October 10 - Slay the Lil’ Dragon - OPEN RIDE

#1 Post by Fanny Fligurl » Tue Sep 28, 2021 8:31 pm

Come one, come all to one of our most sought out routes of the season. It's time to slay the Lil' Dragon!

MEET DETAILS
Date: Sunday October 10th
Fruit Yard - 7948 Yosemite Blvd., Modesto, CA 95357 (Get gas then head to the rear parking lot / backside of store)
Meet @ 9:30am, KSU promptly @ 10am
MUST ATTEND RIDER'S MEETING TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS RIDE, SO PLEASE BE ON TIME

ROUTE DETAILS
Head East on Yosemite (roughly 60 miles)
GAS STOP @ Don Pedro Market
RIGHT on 49 / Little Dragon (15.2 mi)
REST / REGROUP @ observation area on right
Continue on 49 / Little Dragon towards Mariposa (8 mi)
RIGHT on Old Toll Rd. (14.5 mi)
RIGHT on Hornitos Rd. (6.5 mi)
RIGHT on Bear Valley Rd. (17.9 mi)
LEFT on 49 / Little Dragon (14.2 mi)
LEFT on 132 and follow to Louie's Place for lunch
30048 Yosemite Blvd., La Grange

200 miles from start to finish, including one of our favorite lunch spots in the valley, Louie's Place! Don't let the numbers overwhelm you, as we break it down into safe, manageable "pods" according to comfort, skill, and overall familiarity with the route. Please ensure you are rested, hydrated, properly geared, and legal...NO EXCEPTIONS. CU rolls w/ sweep vehicles in the unfortunate event the Lil' Dragon bites someone, not to pick up your moto from the impound yard. Thanks in advance for being on your best'ish behavior, and we can't wait to share this amazing stretch of tarmac with you all!

Women riders interested in finding out more about Curve Unit can ask a member or prospect about how to attend a meeting.
