THE MEET-UP SPOT:
10:30 AM PEET'S COFFEE 5458 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Concord, CA - (925) 673-5225 CORNER OF YGNACIO VALLEY ROAD AND CLAYTON ROAD There is a gas station across the street, please fuel up before meeting @ Peet's
THE ROUTE: From Peet's, turn right on Clayton Road (Clayton turns into Marsh Creek) Stay on Clayton/Marsh Creek Left on Deer Valley Road (Deer Valley turns into Hillcrest Ave right before hwy 4, but it's not noticeable)
REGROUP AT SHELL STATION, Hillcrest Avenue, before the Hwy 4 entrance
Turn right to go East on Hwy 4 Stay right to head toward Rio Vista/Highway 160 Go over Antioch Bridge - Toll $5
REGROUP WHEN SAFE TO DO SO
Continue on 160 to Hwy 12 (stop light) Turn left on Hwy 12 - go over bridge to Rio Vista
Left where sign says Hillside Terrace (takes you to Main Street) Right on Second Street Left on Marina Drive
END AT THE POINT WATERFRONT RESTAURANT 120 Marina Drive, Rio Vista, Ca 94571 (707) 374-5400

Thinking I will try to make this one...Antioch bridge has Fastrak, right? (just making sure).

Des, it's probably been a few years since you've done so but you have ridden out through Delta before. Maybe not Marsh Creek or Deer Valley roads though. Is this an open ride or ladies only?

I rode the Delta hella yrs ago, but not Marsh creek.. This is open ride...

To everyone - This route is mild as far as technical difficulty is concerned, so it's perfect for all you newbies that have been waiting for a more conservative route. For the seasoned riders, of course we would love to have you, just note that it won't be as aggressive as some of our other routes. Time to chill out and enjoy the road this month, rather than leaving tire rubber and knee puck plastic behind.
Also, the lunch spot is slammin', right on the water with a cool breeze and yummy food!
