Talk about a thread revival.

I am glad you are ok. I want to see you riding again as I know you will so you can teach me how to be a better rider.

Where and what happened. Is everything ok including you kidney?

Do you need anything. If I can help let me know.

Thanks Joanne! Since I am now a three-time member of the Asphalt Club, I doubt you want to learn any skills from me.
This accident actually happened in March 2010. I recovered fully only to go down again this past March and tear my rotator cuff. But I'll be back on two as soon as I can and maybe you can teach me a few things!

Maybe. I have been riding for 38 years and only once I had to jump off my XS650 at 45MPH only ended up with two very small scratches on my rear end and no bleeding. No helmet, no coat, twistes in the dark, bad shocks, to fast for curve, jumped off before I hit the gravel, went into roll, hit fence post.

Got over barbed wire fence, stood up bike, and rode it home.

Rear ended van at 20mph, bent forks, did not even drop bike, rode home.

So I guess I know how not to fall.

You want to learn. I could teach that talent.

Now I am, as PattyA's friend says, "you are pushing the envelope with that bike, get gear." That is only at 2/3rds my ability so I guess it is time to join all of you and ATGATT.

Question: Do they have gear that will make me look sexy? I want it. HEHEHE
