Do you know where your fuses are?

Your bike acts like it has a dead battery, no lights even, but the battery is fine. Check your main fuse. The bike has lights but won't start, it won't even crank over. Check your ignition fuse. I was just reminded of this the hard way. I trailered my Ninja 500 home just to find the ignition fuse was blown. It's a good idea to know where those fuses are and have an extra one. On the 500 the fuse box is right under the seat. The ignition fuse is in the box and the cover shows which one it is. The main fuse is on the side of the starter solenoid which is just off to the left side of the seat. Now Amy knows where her's are, if she didn't already. How about everyone else?

Had the same thing happen to me. But I know where my fuses are only I didn't have any spares with me at the time [ duh  ] . As luck would have it a parts store was about 2 blocks from me. My fuse panel is on the left sde behind the battery.
